      I conducted statistical analysis on a retrospective cohort of patients admitted to Barnes Jewish Hospital with urinary tract infections (UTIs), mainly identifying health outcomes, risk factors for transfer to the ICU, length of hospital stay, and antibiotic treatment days based on clinical manifestation. Findings were presented at the 2013 European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Conference in Berlin, Germany. I also facilitate in creating a retrospective cohort of patients admitted to Barnes Jewish Hospital with prosthetic joint infections (PJIs) and conduct statistical analysis of clinical outcomes based variation in antibiotic therapy, site of infection, culture reports. Tasks also include consenting patients for participation in the prospective arm of the study which utilizes 16S rRNA PCR in identifying causative bacteria in culture negative patients. Show less
