  I am responsible for leading and managing the operation and maintenance of all village parks, trails, recreation facilities, as well as a comprehensive recreation program.There are sixteen active parks located throughout the Village of Fox Crossing, along with five open space areas, over twenty miles of bike/pedestrian trails, and a Community Center. I am tasked with the maintenance and development of these areas by planning, preparing and managing construction and improvement projects. I also oversee the development and promotion of year-round recreation programs and special events that are offered to youth, teens and adults.I currently oversee an annual operating budget of $1.1 million and manage a 5 year capital improvement program.Additional responsibilities include: managing our department's and the village's social media presence, managing the village's electronic message centers, coordinating the design, layout and distribution of the village's annual calendar, "The Bridge", and being involved in the village's website redesign.
