  • I was the Teaching Assistant for a third-year computer science course, CSC3022H, for the first half of 2019. My responsibilities included managing a team of 7 tutors, setting assignments & tests and ensuring a smooth running of the course.• Previously tutored three computer science courses at UCT, where I assisted first-year students with assignments and coursework in Python and Java. I marked 60 scripts every semester and assisted around 30 students weekly.

  • I developed a tool in C# which collected market data from external sources. This information was aggregated and stored in a NoSQL database for their analytics portal. I reduced the turnaround time significantly for the operations team to execute this task• After completing my internship, I worked in a team on a part-time basis to develop a mobile app in React Native required for internal company operations.

  • I developed a complete hybrid mobile application in AngularJS which communicates with an Internet of Things plant. This application is currently being used by a company to showcase its IoT platform and was presented in one of their global conferences in Italy.• I was exposed to technologies such as the Ionic framework, MQTT and D3.js and got comfortable using them by the end of my internship.
