  As the Grants and Centre Manager for the Demographic Science Unit, I oversee a diverse portfolio of responsibilities. My primary focus is managing pre- and post-award grant activities, including identifying funding opportunities, preparing and costing grant applications, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. I work closely with research staff to maximize funding success and provide comprehensive financial oversight and reporting through interactive infographics.In addition to grant management, I support strategic planning and operational management for the Centre, organizing key meetings, ensuring administrative support, and overseeing compliance with Open Access and ethics requirements. I also manage the Centre’s administrative team, ensuring efficient operations and strong staff development through effective line management practices. Show less
