  My duties as a crane operator were to assist crew in Erecting steel and piping lifting operations. Inspecting and selecting appropriate rigging to lift various loads. To inspect crane daily for any maintenance safety issues before and after shift. I also operated heavy equipment to remove snow on road ways. Assisted crew in lifting operations by pressing and depressing levers and buttons controls to regulate speed and direction of load being lifted.Place outrigger blocks to prevent crane from tipping over. My duties as a boilermaker were to align and secure parts of pressure vessels by bolting up. Repair, replace, install, secure, the outer exchanger components after repair work had been completed. Replace worn out bolts and gaskets with new ones. Torch cutting, grinding, cutting, gouging of defective sections for Turnaround at Holly Frontier refinery 2016. Key responsibilities included assisting matrix personnel in making critical lifts in alky unit. Moved contaminated bulky objects into water container to neutralize acids. Observed load hook up and determined safe load capacities. Positioned crane in response to radio communication and hand signals. Performed preventive maintenance by cleaning and maintaining hoisting mechanisms.
