  From 2011 through 2013 Jason served as a student counselor at the SEED School of Maryland, one of just two public boarding schools in the United States at the time of his employment. Here, Jason's primary responsibilities included data-driven behavior management, academic counseling, and facilitating communication between teachers, students, parents, and administration.In addition to his core responsibilities at SEED, Jason also served as an advisor on multiple program development committees for the school. Successful outcomes of these initiatives included a school-wide behavior incentive program, a grant-funded after-school enrichment program, and a one-to-one MacBook program.Additionally, Jason took on multiple coaching positions at SEED for sports including track, wrestling, and cross country.
