Content Creator | What if a Therapist Reported the News?

One day soon, I’d like to create a media development company that injects quality, real-world mental health into the entertainment/education industries. This YouTube channel is my first small step toward making that a reality. If you’d like to watch, feel welcome to subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/c/WhatifaTherapistReportedtheNews/featured

      Investor

A very talented colleague of mine, Sam Sabawi, had this wonderful idea on the best way to create video ads for social media channels. He called it VideoRevv. He’s a fantastic person and has this great idea, so I’m supporting him as both investor and coach in his journey of creating a SaaS from the ground up.

      Mar 2020 - Mar 2022
      Executive Director, Colorado

In the fall of 2013, I decided to turn my private practice into a group practice. At the time, I imaged a small group practice with about eight practitioners. By early 2020, however, our 25 office buildings housed over 200 providers and over 50 support staff all across Colorado. Though a combination of hard work, great people, and touch of good fortunes, we’d grown into the largest outpatient behavioral health provider in the State. We were then acquired by the good folks at LifeStance Health, and I’ve stayed on as Executive Director, overseeing their Colorado division. Show less

Freeing People to Reclaim Their True Nature

For the past 25 years, I’ve helped individuals, couples and family heal from their many wounds and live their best lives. If you’re here for you, we’ll first understand where you’ve been, what you’ve been through, and the wounds you still carry within you. ‍ Then, using an insightful-based, compassion-filled approach to therapy, we’ll liberate you to reclaim your natural self, live a life of relational richness with others, and build the brighter future you’ve been hoping for.If you’re here for your relationship, then together we’ll discover ways of communicating that are warm, living examples of the care and affection you have for one other. We’ll bring back the tenderness, the connection and the warmth that were once there, when your relationship was still young. Each of you will learn to listen curiously, instead of critically, and to speak to each other in ways that evoke understanding and give way to resolution. Show less

Liberating People & Organizations from Cultures of Isolation

I’m an award-winning professional counselor specializing in the impacts of family culture, work culture, and consumer culture on our wellbeing.Sometimes, I help media outlets tell the story of how our society is ready to move beyond consumer culture and build a relationally-rich world in its place. Other times, it’s helping leaders build cultures of appreciation, mutuality, and inspired purpose. And finally, this looks like helping individuals break free from who they were told they should be, allowing them to reclaim their natural selves.
