During my tenure at the CGS, I partook, as a team member and leader, in the Mineral and Geological Mapping Project focusing on control and mineralizing systems of Fe and Mn deposits as well as diatomite deposits. The project aimed at developing a comprehensive spatial database as well as producing mineral targeting maps that are usable as baseline for future exploration activities in the Griqualand West Basin. I also have four years experience in gridded regional soil sampling survey. As part of learning, I have also gained substantive experience in working in a team as both team leader and member.
