  As this position being one of my first jobs, I was able to gain a great amount of customer service experience. I learned how to work thoroughly and efficiently with a team, learned how to adapt to a fast paced environment, and also learn more about myself as I began to develop my own work ethic. This position allowed me to make critical decisions while working on a team to ensure a coordinated and organized system.   Through this experience, I was able to strengthen my skills in teaching, critical thinking, and leadership. My role included working with other summer coaches to abide to a scheduled daily routine that consisted of activities and games for the children. I greatly enjoyed my time at this camp and learned more about myself after the summer had ended. The children I looked after changed my life and reminded me of the small joys in life, allowed me to take on differing perspectives, and ultimately discover a new side of myself. Show less
