  Responsibilities given to me were across many different functions throughout my placement so as to gain as much experience as possible. Tasks Undertaken: - Demonstration of new electronic POD (Point of Delivery) systems to 12 partners situated across the country in preparation for the roll-out of the new system - Development of critical KPI’s in relation to the new POD systems - Continuous collection, evaluation and communication with company partners in relation to their KPI’s in order to continuously improve customer service levels - Ensure the pricing for Ireland domestic, UK domestic and Ireland to UK jobs were correct for the new software being developed for “once-off” or “non-account” customers online - Customer and employee support in relation to queries about jobs and also, IT issues - Inputting jobs for collection or delivery into the system and verifying that the correct documentation is accompanying the jobAs a result of my work placement, I was offered a summer position from May – August.
