      I started out as a dishwasher for this restaurant before quickly advancing to a line cook. My responsibilities as a dishwasher included quality care for food service equipment to ensure sterility of said equipment. I was also responsible for refuse elimination.As a line cook I was responsible for the preparation of food, setting up and stocking of stations, and for cooking menu items with the cooperation of other staff and head cooks.

      The Recruit Sustainment Program was created to help new enlistees in the U.S. Army National Guard get accustomed to the military way of life. I was a member of the cadre for this program for approximately six months. During my time there my responsiblities including training new enlistees on the customs, courtesies, and general way of life for a member of the armed forces. I was responsible for the training that new recruits will need to succeed in basic training and in AIT (Advanced Individual Training). I used my experience from my previous time on Active Duty and my two deployments overseas to instruct the recruits on how to make full use of their training.
