  Observed a food safety manager in the central kitchen unit at C&G HQs, along with their other branch's kitchen to gain experience within the food service industry. Witnessed food safety protocols being held in place such as HACCP principles, cleaning and sanitation schedules, temperature and humidity checklists, personal hygiene code, and the storage room FEFO and FIFO routine. I also observed and helped out in a certain catering gig C&G had.

  Through the Work Study Program at AUB, I aided the Center for Research on Population and Health in a project titled “School and Community Drivers of Child Diets in Arab Cities: Identifying Levers for Intervention (SCALE Project)” by assessing the home food environment in school-aged children according to NOVA’s food classification system using LabelBox.
