      I carve limestone, slate, and soapstone in my studio a stone's throw from the ocean in coastal RI, pursuing my art practice, accepting commissions, and creating, implementing and hosting classes and workshops in stone carving. I often work on collaborative public art projects.

      As a board member and occasional vice president of the board of this unique organization, I was part of the team that saw AS220 re-create the downtown Providence art scene, develop three buildings as mixed use artist and business havens, and garner international recognition for its access-driven mission.

      I currently organize and teach visual art classes for the Tir nA Nog Children's Program for the Catskills Irish Arts Week. A variety of art techniques and craft skills are taught to a wide age range of children in a fun, summer-school experience. Previously, I hosted a week long class in Celtic relief carving in limestone for beginners and advanced students. I had many students return to take the class more than once in the 10 years I have been working at this singular cultural experience.
