Coordinated various project execution activities including hardware selection, basic design, hardware interfaces, integration and testing of simulators for operator training.• Co-developed software for emulating DCS Operator Interfaces for training simulators. Emulation software tools were developed for Control algorithms, Instrument databases, Alarming system, Graphics display processor, Trending system, Historical and Error logging system. Emulation tools were used to develop specific operator interface stations for Yokogawa's CENTUM COPSV station, Bailey MCS system and Honeywell TDC3000 system. • Simulation model development for Chemical Process Industries and Fossil Power Plants. Developed mathematical models for three phase fluidized bed catalytic cracking reactor and distillation for a refinery plant ( L C Fining ) simulator. Developed and tested software for Fossil Power plant simulators. Plant specific models were developed for Boiler, Air and Gas system, Turbine and Feed-Water system and Coordinated Controls. • Instructed operators on the simulators at numerous plant sites for start up, shutdown, normal operations, equipment failures and plant upsets.• Developed software for co-generation unit for Ammonia plant and tested advanced control strategies for energy optimization.   • Co-Founded EnVision Systems with collaboration with a Japanese company. Researched available technologies and software tools, visited various industry and software trade shows and conferences, developed a business plan, designed architecture and few proto-types. Developed MAC based product within 18 months and delivered to first customer in Japan and later developed Windows based Simulator and Web based e-Learning. The self-funded startup was a success. EnVision was purchased by GSE Systems in Jan 2011.• The international customers wanted products available in their local language. Collaborated with customers to find local technical translators, voiceover artists and developed methodology to localize products.
