  Completed an undergraduate Honors thesis on the speech deficits and their relationship to story gist in patients with stroke-related aphasia while working in the Language and Neuroimaging Research Laboratory. Assisted in cognitive batteries, transcribed and coded over 40 recorded narratives, and collected and analyzed the data from these tasks to draw conclusions and further research into the way language breaks down and its neural correlates. Assisted teaching staff in-class for college introductory level Molecular and Cellular Biology promoting student collaboration in groups, checking student understanding, and facilitating learning. Held multiple sessions outside of class time structured to deepen students abilities with concepts with creative work and interactions with peers. Through the Undergraduate Biological Research Program (UBRP), worked in the Language and Neuroimaging Lab studying stroke-induced speech deficits and their neural correlates through cognitive and language tests, EEGs, and MRIs.

  Assisted providers in multiple specialties including GI Oncology, ENT, and Cardiology at Banner Clinics and through the University of Arizona Cancer Center. I accurately recorded patients medical history as well as insured better patient care with detailed notes of clinic visits. I supported physicians in keeping track of their clinic load and allowed them to be more focused on patient's rather than EMRs.Adapted during the time of COVID to provide telehealth for patients by insuring connections between provider and patient through teleconferencing.
