  Activities and Societies: As a teaching assistant, I taught different Calculus classes offered by the math department for different engineering departments. I was mostly learning pure math during this period of time. Algebraic geometry, algebraic topology, homotopy theory are some of the fields that I spent a lot of time in.

  Activities and Societies: As a teaching assistant, I assisted in a year-long course on honor's algebra offered in the math department, and assisted in a Calculus course offered for engineering students for a semester. As a research assistant, I worked under Prof. Wu-Yen Chuang on moduli spaces and derived categories. My master's thesis is on refining a formula predicted by the S-duality conjecture (originally formulated by Vafa and Witten) on moduli spaces from the level of virtual Hodge polynomials to invariants defined via Grothendieck's motivic ring of varieties.During my last year in this program, I started taking courses on some of the mathematics related to machine learning and computational math (numerical linear algebra, convex optimization, graph theory).
