      OpenCloud, now acquired by Metaswitch, was an international telecommunications company with offices in the UK, New Zealand, Spain and Indonesia. This was a stand-alone HR role. My primary function was international recruitment of telecommunication engineers and sales consultants. This entailed extensive negotiation of rates and remuneration packages, and working with local solicitors and financial advisers in order to put in place engagement contracts which aligned with local employment legislation. In addition, I was in charge of all HR matters including: drafting policies and procedures, carrying out the annual salary review , calculate annual bonus payments, managing payroll instructions, administer company benefits.
