      Game Changer Award Dell August 1, 2019 Client migration to new platform and retirement of legacy application is always a challenge and time consuming. 3 Major application which CCE has targeted as Omega CFO, CFO SS, GII CFO, Adobe to CCE. To start CFO SS had a challenge of migrating 16 clients over 5K templates. To get everything tested before migration, it was estimated approximately 10K hours of testing effort. Solution Approach : A/B testing was introduced to cover automation testing directly in production. To start CFO SS had a challenge of migrating 16 clients over 5K templates. To get everything tested before migration, it was estimated approximately 10K hours of testing effort. Solution Approach : A/B testing was introduced to cover automation testing directly in production. This solution is based on simple logic of "if input is same, output should remain same." Challenge was testing print scenario where email should stay same in pixel positions so it can print at exactly right position of page. Team built pixel comparison and image comparison along with data comparison. As a result we reached CFO SS to CCE migration in 1 quarter. We migrated first cut of US Invoice migration on CCE using A/B Testing. Show less
