  Setting strategy for Cloudera's Education department, and ensuring customers get the training plan that best meets their needs. Responsibilities included working with customers to develop custom training plans to fit their needs; working with the curriculum department to ensure materials matched the training plan; occasional delivery of technical and custom content; working with the Sr. Director of Education Services to forecast revenue. Ran the Curriculum Department; responsibilities included hiring and managing staff; determining course content and direction; overview of content generation; working with the Sr. Director of Education Services and other departments to ensure our overall curriculum both supported the company's technical direction and served our department's revenue goals. Hired and managed the team responsible for Cloudera's curriculum development. Determined which new courses to create, oversaw the development of the materials, managed alpha and beta versions of the classes, liaised with the Product and Engineering departments to ensure that we were creating courses which fit in with the company's technical direction and vision. Lead instructor at Cloudera, teaching Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, and related technologies.
