  •Role Intent Provision of deep Instrument and Control (I&C) expertise andjudgment in service of the assets, working closely with Offshore Operation toensure efficient handover of all issues that require engineeringinput to resolve. The support includes frequent visit to assets and participation in respective activities;• Ensure pragmatic solutions are implemented for management of risk,production efficiency improvement, maintenance, defect elimination andengineering standardization, related to instrumented protective systems,process controls and alarms, and in support of safe, reliable and compliantoperations on Offshore Assets• Provides I&C expertise to other teams by performing and reviewingcomplex, or non-routine I&C calculations and analyses.• Provides I&C expertise to MoCs and to brownfield projects andmodifications• Provides I&C expertise to hazard identification and risk assessmentprocesses.• Provides I&C expertise in performing incident investigations (IRIS) anddefect investigations (OPTIMA). • Work closely with vendors and support contractors which are utilized to support ongoing operations;• Provides I&C expertise to ensure that cyber security risk controls are inplace on all regional automation systems and that associated barriers areproactively managed.• Responsible for monitoring and performance of the management devices inOffshore Assets. Identifies measurement gaps, develops and implements correctiveplans.• Provides I&C expertise to delivery of regional actions. Leads on resolutionof complex, multi-discipline technical issues where the dominantcomponent is instrumentation and control equipment.
