The Young Women in Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (YWNPD) Mentorship Programme will pair successful candidates (mentees) with well-established experts (mentors) to engage in a mentoring relationship, which envisions, among other things, regular videoconferencing sessions. Mentees will also be expected to attend conferences, including the EUNPDC Annual Conference on 3-5 December 2023 in Brussels, Belgium.       Participant within the "youth leader fund for a world without nuclear weapons"

      With support from the government of Japan, 100 participants are chosen for a 4-month training course in general principles of nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control, with a selected cohort going on a week-long in-person study tour to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I am eager to exchange ideas with disarmament experts from think tanks, civil society organizations, media, and the diplomatic field, and will be provided with the opportunity to develop practical skills and know-how to engage and practically contribute to issues related to nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control.
