  As the Trips Director, I oversee a staff of seven wilderness trip leaders with a schedule of over 40 trips throughout northern Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota. I manage all aspects of leading wilderness trips, including gear repair, menu planning, route planning, and risk management. Within this role, my primary goals are mitigating risk while instructing youth participants in canoeing, backpacking, backcountry camping, Leave No Trace principles, and reading their environment.

  Director Of Logistics

  Within my role as The Director of Logistics, I oversee the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making our programs successful and meaningful experiences for today's youth. I work with my small but mighty team to design new programs, manage itineraries, and form partnerships all around the world. Additionally, I oversee our entire staff experience from recruitment through completion of their contracts - I hire, onboard, train, and mentor our leaders in every aspect of their job and more. When our programs are in the field, I work tirelessly with my team to ensure our trip leaders are supported and our participants are experiencing truly life-changing experiences. I am committed to the growth of our organization and to furthering the intentions behind our Mission, Vision, and Values to ensure that we are practicing what we preach. I am passionate about identifying inequities within our organization and beyond to help make outdoor spaces accessible to all - both participants and staff. Show less
