Trained hundreds of multi-agency firefighters/engine bosses on suppression strategy and tactics and pre-suppression activities. Managed day to day activities of severity resources. Performed sandbox and field exercises to keep crews sharp and ahead of the game. I assumed Duty Officer/Overhead responsibilities when the Fire Forester was absent. Crew cohesion was paramount and helped keep that going despite firefighters coming and going for various reasons. Coordinate with DES and Sheriff Office on resource ordering, Public Health roles and responsibilities, cross agency training opportunities, etc. Train Public Health resources to be ICS/NIMS compliant.
