Consider all possible events and factors that may cause disruption to transportation of materials and take necessary action to prevent themTo develop the layout of the overall logistics elements such as the concrete batching plants, lay down area, steel yards, site accommodation etc.Ensure the efficient use of Plant and Equipment, Tower Crane, Mobile Crane, Mobile hoists and other mobile lifting / transporting equipment to facilitate movement of materials within the project site.To arrange transportation for Material delivery at site from vendors, Central Store or another projects.Coordinate with Plant department for any type of break down with buses Tipper trucks Trailers Pickups and other construction equipment’s.Maintain record of Registration, servicing, Driver’s License renewal and third party inspection certificates renewal for all vehicles at site.Plan material delivery in accordance with the delivery schedule and site requirements.To organize and prepare site logistics plan and lay down areas in order to make effective use of site spaces during material deliveries.Handling maintenance & operations of Tower Cranes, Mobile Cranes, Construction Hoist, Mast Climbers, Cradles, Generator Sets, Placing Boom, Concrete pumps (M1, CP 30, BP 1800, etc).Coordinate necessary permits / approvals from local authorities. Arrange third party inspection of tower cranes and other areas as the need arises. Plan Tower Crane and hoist work schedule / timings. Manage the construction of temporary facilities.To maintain comprehensive logistics records of the project in order to satisfy the documentation needed by QA Department for auditing purposes.
