  Materials Technician

  I worked in the lab and field. Concrete sampling and breaking cylinders. Sand cones and Nuke gauges to check the density of the ABC and subgrade. And working in the lab on soils and aggregate, from SA, PI's, proctor's SE's and other testing. Asphalt sampling and taking it to the lab to test different tests. I enjoyed my time there, but was glad to leave!

  I work in the lab and in the field. I love my job. Every day is a learning experience for me. I started out in the pits with crusher control and mix designs for concrete and asphalt. This helped me so much when I left to go to MCDOT then out in the private sector. Working with ADOT and City of Phoenix has helped me Alot also. Building bridges, freeways, city streets and housing. Construction is in my blood.
