Responsibilities:• The design of modules of new machines to full production release, including concept design, design analysis eg FEA of pressurised systems, design reviews and detailed design and assembly drawings and structures. Also, risk/FMEA analysis, cost analysis/reduction, supplier negotiation, prototyping, initial build, testing and design/regulatory documentation and training to facilitate transfer to production. • Ongoing support, troubleshooting and development to facilitate addition machine function requirements. • Design for hygienic and explosive environments and regulatory compliance eg, UL, Atex ,NRTL/HAZLOC, Pressure Directive.• Creation of mechanical fabrication standards to rationalize design and inspection.
