      Student

As a student, my main responsibility was probably to learn as much as I possibly could in terms of both soft skills and academics. I truly believe that my time spent in Taylor's gave me an insight into what I would have to expect in the real world. The 3 years I've spent on campus has not only strengthen my interest to learn more but it has also allowed me to meet wonderful people. I've learned a lot more about myself and the importance of prioritizing and maintaining a balance between work and fun.As a committee member of the Biosciences Club, I was involved with organising various types of events such as the Arakane Outreach Programme and fund-raising. My committee members and I were trying to build a network of students from the 3 different cohorts in our school for future purposes by organising events that could involve everyone. Show less

The ISEP FunEdu 2015 was a one day event involving local and international children between the ages of 10 to 12. It served to educate children on various subjects such as Science, Mathematics and IT with an emphasis on English being the mainstream language used to communicate. My role for the day was to facilitate one of the booths alongside some of my friends and to be the official photographer covering the event. I came up with the initial idea for the booth but it was made better with the contribution of ideas from my friends. The main concept of our booth was to educate children on the general pathway of food through the digestive system. We named our booth, 'What Goes In, Must Come Out'. Surprisingly, we were the Runner Up for Best Booth of the Day amidst all the other amazing booths. Show less
