Show less Developing supply chain networks from OEM suppliers through to End Users throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Achieving the lowest achievable landed costs that provides the necessary degree of configurability to meet the unique country localisation requirements. These supply chains covered countries to minimise SKU cost.Key achievement was being the Supply Chain Engineering involved at the product development stage of Pitney Bowes highest volume OEM product (DM60) with responsible for developing and implementing a supply chain process covering the full product life cycle. This involved BoM and SKU Management, minimising, non-value adding operations and Landed Costs and designing a logistics network covering product distribution to end user, product return, retest and refurbish and return to finished goods inventory for UK, central Europe and the Nordic countries. I project manager the product introduction, ensuring all product launch steps were undertaken to schedule. Oversaw the progress of the product specification approval, product demand forecasting, product bill of materials creation, SAP setup and supply chain development to ensure the role out of the product into the EAME markets were to schedule. Show less Responsible for the product remanufacturing business unit, I lead a cross functional team that increased product volume from 5000 to 25000 units/year within 2 years. This was achieved through raising the profile of the product range with the sales and marketing side of the business, supported with product portfolio expansion, standardised production processes, quality control and cost down exercises. I successfully managed this business unit by setting clear objectives and direction, fostering team spirit, motivating, supporting and empowering others to resolve issues.Attained ISO14001 certification, becoming one of the first UK organisations to meet the Environmental Management System and WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment) standards by creating reuse, recycle and salvage channels as well as waste stream management. The operation was able to be self sustaining and even created a profit in the initial years.Through discussion with the Asia Pacific Vice President I successfully developed and introduced the ‘Newly Assembled’ range of products to meet the low cost, high quality expectations for these emerging markets.Project managed the transfer of an OEM product configuration process in house, leading to total stock flexibility, reduced inventory costs and customer delivery lead-time.
