This allowed for cultivating not only knowledge of growing many different types of crops but also facilitated in building Spanish speaking skills. Served as English translator for older Spanish speaking farming subordinates/friends in legal consultations and training.

  Managed and operated largest tobacco warehouse in southeast. Hired and managed 60 plus seasonal employees to work in tobacco warehouse which purchased and shipped over 50 million pounds of tobacco each season. Served as communication liaison between Spanish speaking employees and upper management. Tasks include work instructions and resolving issues in both English and Spanish. Project Manager for implementing new contract workflow for Phillip Morris which accommodated receiving tobacco from over 300 plus farmers during a limited time period. Show less

  Successful acquired and leased several warehouses in Sanford & Wilson, NC. Commended by the City of Sanford for improving the community and drawing revenue from surrounding cities.Worked with GAIN Clean fuel to open first North Carolina location which provides compressed natural gas for fleets developed by US Oil Gain Clean Fuel. This offers customers an environmentally friendly substitute to traditional fuels that delivers cost savings when compared to diesel.
