Breakthrough Central Texas is a non-profit organization in Austin, Texas whose mission is to create a path to and through college for students who will become the first in their families to earn a college degree. I am a part of this Organization being a First Generation student so having the opportunity to work with them was my way to give back to my community as well as learn teaching strategies. Show less

  Responsible for developing, proposing, and implementing marketing plans to encourage increased attendance and enhance the fan experience for all Texas A&M Athletics programs. - This has included placing advertising materials, developing and directing promotions, outreach to internal (University) and external constituents, and being the marketing liaison on gameday with respective programs.- Collaborate closely with 12th Man Productions, Field Staff, & Sports Properties to build brand awareness that is recognizable.- Aid fans in navigating the 12th Man Mobile App to enhance Texas A&M Athletics' digital experience Show less

Breakthrough Central Texas is a non-profit organization in Austin, Texas, whose mission is to create a path to and through college for students who will become the first in their families to earn a college degree. This summer, I taught 8th Grade Math and led a faculty committee. I had the opportunity to also serve as a representative for Visitors Day, with this being my fourth summer returning as a Breakthrough Teaching Fellow. My commitment to this organization is unwavering, and being a part of it while I was a student has been my way of giving back to the community where I grew up. Show less
