  responsible for meter reading, installations, maintenance, testing, programming, removal, repair, starts, stops, and replacements with a primary focus on natural gas, in addition to electric and water meters located within the KUB service area. This will include entering the customer’s premise to relight gas equipment. Under general supervision, and with an emphasis on safety, performs a wide variety of duties to support day-to-day operations of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, including system setup and configuration. This will include response to system notification messages, investigation of tamper alerts, troubleshooting, problem resolution, reporting, training, and documentation. Provides consistent, excellent customer service on behalf of KUB. Is responsible for the safe operation and inspection of assigned vehicles and equipment. Uses various computer applications to monitor and troubleshoot AMI systems. Must be able to complete all orders electronically on a handheld device or computer. Subject to hazards such as asphyxiation, explosions, burns, electrical shocks, falls, etc. Effectively communicates with KUB co-workers and customers. Show less
