      I managed and ran audio operations at the Kitsilano Showboat – a summer-only outdoor amphitheatre close to the water at Kitsilano Beach Park. Performances varied from singer-songwriter to electronic dance groups. I ran everything on a 24-channel audio mixer!Highlights include:- Coordinated and planned stage operations independently or with crew for public shows with an audience of over 300 people. Reported plans directly to show producer.- Conducted regular maintenance and inventory counts of equipment and disposables.- Recommended future audio equipment purchases, in line with industry trends.- Conducted sales of company merchandise and show tickets.- Created conceptual promotional marketing materials.- Assisted with front-of-house operations.       Working in the Engagement & Communications Unit at UBC Campus + Community Planning which delivers municipal-like planning services for the UBC campus and its neighbourhoods.
