Jan 2018 - Aug 2018Commerical cyber strategy intern, summer gamesDeveloped a model to determine the recommended amount of spend a business should dedicate towards their cyber security. Conducted expert interviews, as well as opensource research to gather information for determining the essential cost estimates for personnel and technology within a security department.Utilized data analytics strategy to weight budget across key persona characteristics of a business such as industry, size and global footprint. Assisted in developing a web application to host the model in RShiny. Wrote user documentation and assumption explanations.About the Summer Games program, from boozallen.com: "A fun, intense, and competitive internship project that assesses each student’s interests, passions, and skillsets before assigning them to teams that align with each individual’s goals. The projects—called challenges—are by no means cookie-cutter. Every summer, interns are asked to create powerful solutions to real-world client and societal challenges by blending approaches born out of combining management consulting skills with advanced technical capabilities. Each team is assigned Booz Allen mentors who bring deep subject matter expertise and help guide the team throughout the Games. At the end of their 10-week program, teams compete over three days in a series of pitch sessions to Booz Allen’s senior leaders. Teams are eliminated each day until the best of the bunch face off. Winners are awarded funding and support to evolve their projects into end-to-end solutions." Show less
