  Period: 2008 – 2011Place : Saigon, VietnamResponsibilities:• Chairman and GM for the Danish organisation “Danish Planet Saigon” (DPS). DPS is an organisation for Danish business people and families living in Saigon/Vietnam. The main goal for DPS is to strengthen the Danish relations and celebrate the Danish culture and anniversaries as well as prepare the children to master the Danish language despite the fact that they grow up abroad. I had a very close co-operation with the Danish Consulate, Danish business people and the Nordic Chamber of commerce. When we established DPS we started a Danish school program hiring two Danish teachers to teach Danish in the afternoon in the facilities of the British International School (BIS). During my work in DPS I had a close cooperation with Jyske Bank who were our main sponsor on a lot of our projects. Every month we participated in the gathering at the Danish Consulate in Saigon socializing and networking with the Danish business people in Saigon.In my role as the GM of DPS I cooperated with companies like Grundfos and M.T. Hoejgaard. When the Danish Royal family were visiting we were involved in some of the projects. One of the activities assigned to DPS was having all our Danish schoool kids greeting Crownprince Frederik when he visited the Grundfos factory. Other important activities worth mentioning was my creation of the monthly newsletter for our 200 members of DPS as well as other promotional materiale. • Main drive organizing charity work for children at Vietnamese orphanages. • Coaching and mentoring Danish business leaders.
