Oct 2016 - nowI enjoy my current role giving me the opportunity to work with a great team guiding and supporting them through work breakdown, planning, and setup in Jira (the system in use) toward successful incremental delivery. To accomplish this I enjoy making full use of and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Iteration Planning, daily standups, Iteration Demos, and Retrospective sessions with the team. These agile ceremonies and tools are by now well established and our team members are confident in their understanding of what comes next for each project or BAU task we initiate. We enjoy the visibility, predictability, and ability to carefully manage capacity vs load ensuring no team members are ever overloaded or overwhelmed by workload. I also enjoy working closely with the Head of Technology Security, Product Owner, and Programme Manager supporting the development of our Improvement Programme, resource capacity calculations, and advisory towards good resourcing decisions ensuring our team is adequately set up to support strategy. Consolidation of project information requested from various role players takes up much of my time. I work closely with the Programme Manager to compile monthly Board reports and Quarterly reports. Governance, guiding teams to ensure the correct processes are followed and keeping all our steps clear and auditable is an important part of my role. I also constantly make sure the process still works for us and what MSD wants to achieve with a client centric focus. PPM Meeting: Secretariate function (Scheduling, meeting pack, minutes). I keep a detailed register and ensure that all decision and caveats noted in regards to new Epic Value Statements and Leight Weigh Business Cases's endorsed by the board are documented and communicated to the project managers. Ensure that the All EVS and LWBs follows the required quality checks prior to adding them to the agenda and meeting packs. Assisting in the compilation of the weekly AMP Programme Burnrate report and including the report in the pack. - PI Board Meeting: Secretariate , ensure that projects status reports with a Red/ Amber RAG status are included in the agenda and meeting pack for review by the Board, ensure that all project Closure Reports were reviewed prior to the meeting and are included in the agenda for endorsement by the board. Keeping a detailed closure report register noting board decisions and communicating outcomes and caveats with the project managers. AMP Board Meeting - Secretariat: I assist in the compilation of the monthly Programme Board Report.
