      My daily responsibilities include conducting health assessments for a variety of clients, performing venepuncture, blood sample analysis, resting and exercise electrocardiography, aerobic capacity testing and lung function testing. I utilise motivational interviewing technique to encourage goal setting and behaviour change, with discussions on health areas including exercise and daily activity, nutrition, cardiovascular health, posture, cancer risk, smoking, alcohol, sleep health, resilience and emotional wellbeing. Additional responsibilities include:• Managing clinic duties to perform daily and quality controls, calibrate equipment, raising equipment and IT issues, use problem-solving skills to resolve issues and minimise client disruption.• Manage my own development through completing mandatory training, completing a Level 7 Diploma in Health and Wellbeing and Exercise ECG qualification.• Contribute to the development of others by volunteering as a Buddy to new Physiologist’s to develop their report writing skills, assist the Region Clinic Lead in monthly report audits.• Write tailored client reports following each health assessment, ensuring they are completed demonstrated safety, care and are well written.• Adhere to SOP and government guidelines regarding confidentiality, information governance and GDPR compliance.• Work independently and within a mobile role, in both clinics and on-site offices.       Creating a service to support patients within the PCN to manage their health independently. Utilising coaching skills of motivational interviewing, personalised care approach and liaising with social prescribing team. Tasks included:- Conducting a gap analysis of local services, reaching out to those in voluntary and community groups to increase network and opportunities for patients, analysis where gaps are to focus projects.- Communicate with practices regularly, attending MDT meetings and answering questions to senior leaders regarding evidence and impact.-Extremely self-sufficient and innovative, creating a range of invaluable tools and resources for patients regarding education on health conditions and management,- Tracking referrals with exceptional organisation, conducting system reporting to feedback to referrers and practice managers. Show less Clinical duties include taking blood sample for COVID-19 antibody testing and swab testing asymptomatic employees. Occupational Health duties include answering call enquiries, distributing evolving advice to employees and line managers and ensuring that occupational health records are updated. I call employees to clarify email enquiries and to book antibody and follow up swab testing. I use empathy to reassure employees via telephone who are concerned for themselves or family safety and arrange home testing and follow up calls for symptomatic individuals. Show less
