This allows clients to adapt and sustain their vehicles to meet changing threats and requirements.I provided leadership and guidance for all ILS activities to program management teams. I was accountable for developing and implementing ILS strategies consistent with the direction provided by Government ILS program management, ensured direction of Government ILS was conveyed to program management team members, and when required, transitioned from the management of ILS activities predominantly focused on acquisition to management of sustainment activities focused on post-fielding operational support.I was primarily focused on the company's Family of Light Tactical Vehicles (FLTV), which included the following platforms: the Saratoga; the company's Joint Light Tactical Vehicle entrant, the Sartaoga-J; HMMWV (“Humvee”) Recapitalization (RECAP) efforts; and a former JLTV partnership (the JLTV Valanx) with BAE Systems.I provided secondary support to other competitive efforts within the company related to the US Special Operations Command Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV) and Canadian Department of National Defence Standard Military Pattern (SMP) vehicle programs.I also supported fielded programs such as the company’s MaxxPro Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP), Military Extreme Truck (MXT), and related families of vehicles.Held a SECRET security clearance from the US Government. I developed eight Financial Improvement Plans (FIPs) to enable the center to achieve an accelerated goal of fully auditable financial statements for the Working Capital Funds (WCF) by 2017, the deadline established by Congress in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2010. Post-acceptance of the plans by the USAF, I transitioned to an advise and assist posture at the center and assisted subject matter experts to define current and establish future techniques, policies, and procedures for managing USAF WCF.Held a SECRET security clearance from the US Government.
