This included analysing high volume crime, as well as major and specialist operations. Duties included:Analysing complex information, to provide clear and appropriate direction, making recommendations to Senior Investigation Officer and Area Commander regarding how to resolve current concerns. Various police databases are interrogated to ensure that all available data is analysed. Skilled in the use of these databases, as well as Microsoft packages and other computer systems. To deliver presentations to senior managers, partners, other departments and new staff where appropriate, demonstrating logical thinking and detailed analysis. Information was presented in various formats including reports, i2 Analyst notebook Charts and PowerPoint. Preparing statistical reports and submitting performance reports, as well as maintaining various databases and analytical products. Strategic analysis when required, liaising with all relevant departments and partners to ensure all relevant information is included. Research and analysis of large volumes of telecommunications data, providing direction to the investigation team.
