  •As Systems Engineer Trainee , I completed the six month Infosys Training in Fast Track mode in four months with GPA of 5.0(max 5.0). The training comprised of a Generic module which included the basics of Computer Science and Software Development. The second module that I learnt was the Specialized Module in Open Systems which included PERL, UNIX, SQL. • As Systems Engineer in Infosys Ltd, I was a contributing part of the 8-member team that carried out a data transfer project for KRAFT Foods and Cadbury ; worked in SQL and a tool named Cranksoft, interacted with stakeholders and maintained positive team dynamics. Show less Major accomplishments :• Conduct of Skill Development Cadre for unemployed youth – Imparted free training in repair and maintenance of automobiles to 12 unemployed civilian youth of border villages, thereby enabling them to gain fruitful employment near their villages. This task involved preparation of training curriculum for both theory and practical classes, establishment of ad hoc training area, briefing and management of training team of 10 specialist technicians, and conduct of Validation Tests.• Planned, coordinated, monitored and provided the resources for demining of an area of 615 square metres, safely recovering 23 Anti-personnel mines in 3 and a half months. • Planned, requisitioned manpower, coordinated, and monitored the construction of 36 concrete bunkers in a short span of 8 months in an area along the Line of Control which was 200 metres from the adversary providing Over Head Protection from bombardment to own troops.• Designed, planned and coordinated the renovation of the Battalion Operations Room which included the in- house fabrication of Sand Model, Battalion Surveillance Centre, and projection system in 2 months.• Coordinated and monitored the laying of 30 km of Optical Fibre Cable in treacherous terrain in close proximity to the Line of Control, within 15 days.• Carried out 50 plus incident-free recovery operations in treacherous terrain.• Continuously trained weapon detachments by preparing a training curriculum, briefing the training team, and conducting validation tests.• Led my team to carry out intensive preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure near 100% availability of power generation equipment.• I was part of the User Trials Team of a Light Bullet Proof Vehicle, as a Technical representative of the Indian Army, to validate the Qualitative Requirements, prior to induction into the Army in the year 2019. Show less While commanding a Field Workshop, I planned, coordinated, managed and facilitated repair, recovery, and maintenance of all weapon systems and equipment held with a Counter Insurgency Battalion responsible for guarding the Line of Control(LoC). I provisioned critical inventory of spares, tools and test equipment for vehicles, communication devices, optoelectronic equipment, heavy-duty generators and IT assets. This involved training of technicians, inventory management, making preventive maintenance plan, provision of Mobile Repair Teams for moving convoys, and innovation to ensure maximum operational availability and reliability of war-like equipment to the Battalion of 1600 plus soldiers. I utilized my innovation skills not only to facilitate repair but also to aid the Battalion in carrying out Counter Insurgency operations in mountainous terrain. The innovations conceptualized, designed and fabricated by me were widely appreciated at Corps level. The details of the same are mentioned below:-• Mobile Pneumatic Workstation - An innovation designed and fabricated to enable ease of repair of vehicles that are part of mobile convoys.• Mobile Surveillance Centre - Modified a heavy vehicle to act as a Command and Control Centre for Search Operations, replete with HD long-range Surveillance Camera, Radio Communication Equipment, and a Display Device all internally powered through the vehicle, resulting in an increase in the range of surveillance by 125 square km and appreciation by the Formation Commander (CEO). • Cabin Mounted Ignition Switch - Conceptualized a push-button start placed on the exterior of the cabin of heavy vehicles, to provide the technicians with a means to crank the engine from outside to safely validate repairs. • Fuel Filtration Plant - Designed and fabricated an in- house fuel filtration plant to filter the diesel before use in heavy vehicles thereby reducing defects in the Rotary pump of the vehicles by 50%. Show less While performing this role, at a large Workshop(Military Equipment Repair and Maintenance Unit) I was responsible for managing cross-functional teams responsible for maintaining the equipment of 8 Battalions holding a variety of equipment from a digital compass to sophisticated radars. My responsibilities included:-• Managing and mentoring the technical repair staff of the workshop and providing them with the necessary tools, test jigs and infrastructure.• Ensuring all workshop procedures were in place & adhered to, so that efficiency is enhanced and equipment downtime is reduced.• Preparing equipment readiness reports for Higher Headquarters.Major accomplishments:• Ensured incident-free move of a large convoy of 50 plus vehicles, which included towed vehicles & trailer mounted Dozers over a turn- around distance of 800 km through highly sensitive area in 2015 and 2016.• Conducted Annual Technical Inspection of 9 major units including Artillery Regiments, Surveillance and Target Acquisition units, and Aviation Flights. Each Inspection involved planning the composition of the Inspection team, requisitioning the Inspection team, and conduct of the inspection of the entire plethora of equipment held with the units.• Conducted a comprehensive Cyber Security Audit of IT assets of the formation comprising 10000 plus personnel.• Planned and monitored the kitting and deployment of Mobile Repair Teams, Recovery detachments as part of Flood Relief Team during Bihar floods in 2017. Show less While serving in an Infantry Battalion deployed at a High Altitude Area of 12800 ft along the active Line of Control in Kashmir, I performed the duties of Rifle Platoon Commander and Rifle Company Commander under harsh weather and terrain conditions within enemy’s visible range.Major accomplishments:• I was a key player in the planning & induction of Advanced Winter Stocking stores, required for sustenance of the cut-off location in the 6 and half months of winter, for a strength of 150 plus personnel. These stores included not only operational stores such as weapons, equipment, ammunition but also critical sustenance stores such as Ration, Fuel, Oil & Lubricants, Extreme Climate Clothing, and other essential ancillaries for survival. • I carried out improvement of defences in the Company by construction of Baffle walls, sentry posts, underground bunkers, weapon and ammunition bunkers. This involved fetching up of stores in eyeball to eyeball contact with the enemy passing through treacherous terrain employing limited resources.• I led the Route Opening across 12 feet of snow-covered area in the chilling Himalayan winter months to establish an important deployment location.• I planned and led the move of a special convoy over a one way distance of 400 km through highly sensitive Insurgency prone area, for turnover of missiles.
