  As a member of the quality department at GMCC (India plant), I actively participated in a green field project by:— Managing documentation related to inspections, audits, quality control procedures & guidelines with the standards set by our Chinese team.— Studied various case studies focusing on root cause analysis of defects that occurred in the Chinese plant’s compressors.— Inspections and testing of machinery and equipment during installation. Show less During my tenure at GMCC, the electro-mechanical division of the Midea Group was renowned as Asia’s top manufacturer of air conditioning compressors. I had the incredible opportunity to undergo training at GMCC’s China plant located in Foshan, China. I had the opportunity to work in various departments and gain valuable experience. I began my journey in the production department, where I actively participated in the production processes for air conditioning compressors.Recognizing my dedication and performance, I was promoted to work in the quality department, where I worked closely with Chinese mentors. In this role, my responsibilities included:— Ensuring adherence to quality standards.— Conducting inspections in IQC & PQC, as well as monthly tests to identify any defects or deviations — Learning to implement corrective actions.— Analyse root causes of a defect to maintain high product quality.— I was also tasked with delivering weekly reports and presentations on the learnings and progress made throughout the week to indian team managers and gmcc india plant head.Achievement: Awarded as the best performer among quality DETs , received by Indian project head Jon.
