  Student Legal Aid Forum was informally formed in October 2014 and formally started its activities on May 25, 2015 through a launching ceremony. It is purely a law student based forum of Bangladesh. Each and every regular student of any law school of Bangladesh can be a member of this organization (the membership registration form has been attached as pinned post of this page. You can be a member by submitting this form).We believe that information is the power to erase the sufferings of the justice seekers. And we are committed to provide the information regarding legal aid services and access to justice provisions in an easier and innovative way to the people. In this regard, we have already launched "SLAF One Click Legal Aid" mobile application, which we believe will help the people to get information by using their mobile without any hassle. We will also make "SLAF One Click" mobile application on other legal provisions which are connected with the access to justice sector.   My position is a UNV National Specialist category and my responsibilities include -• Assist National Programme Coordinator (Human Trafficking & Migrant Smuggling) and the team in effective liaison and communications, inter alia ensuring flow of information to internal and external stakeholders through coordination, preparation and circulation of regular updates, newsletters, reports, web-stories and other written outputs to ensure visibility of the Programme, in line with any donor visibility requirements;• Contribute to the preparation of various written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, briefing notes, speeches, position papers, analytical notes, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc., relating to maritime crime issues, in collaboration with the substantive team;• Support the conduct of research and collation of information on trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants• Contribute with substantive support for policy coordination and evaluation functions, including the review and analysis of emerging issues and trends, participation in evaluations or research activities and studies.• Provide logistical, administrative and substantive support to the National Programme Officer (Human Trafficking & Migrant Smuggling) and the team with regard to consultative and other meetings, workshops, conferences, training sessions, missions etc., including preparing background documents and presentations, drafting meeting minutes, etc.;• Provide coordination support in securing nominations for UNODC events, communicating with nominated participants, following up on any queries, organizing and coordinating filing and maintaining of mailing lists;• Translate daily correspondence and project-related documents, reports and other written outputs.
