Development of workplans and scopes for the technical teams and daily management of resources, budgets, and deliverables against the baseline plan.Engagement and day-to-day communications with the client team to understand project priorities and discuss progress. Facilitating open dialogue and fostering a collaborative atmosphere with the internal teams. This includes chairing bi-weekly team meetings and weekly meetings with team leads.Monitoring team performance through review of metrics and quality of deliverables.Oversight of monthly project and commercial reports, both internal to the firm and externally to the client. Show less Mackenzie worked in the St. John’s, Newfoundland project office to deliver the detailed engineering design (DED) of a concrete gravity structure (CGS) to support drilling activities in the Jeanne D’Arc Basin, 350 km east of Newfoundland in 120m water depth. Mackenzie was a member of the project management team and was involved with day to activities including progress tracking, change & risk management, as well as interface coordination. Mackenzie developed a tool for tracking and trending project metrics to support discipline progress and provide updates to the project controls team. Mackenzie was largely involved with change management and frequently developed change quotations capturing impacts to the DED team. She also managed project risks which included coordinating monthly updates, identifying credible risks, determining consequences and establishing a response plan to mitigate impacts where possible. Mackenzie’s interfacing responsibilities included communicating with the various contractors to effectively exchange information to support both the construction and CGS installation scopes of work.
