      As a Key Manager, I supervised and designated tasks to groups of four servers, as well as handled opening and closing procedures. Other responsibilities included training new employees on cashiering and serving positions. In addition to learning excellent customer service and a sense of urgency, I frequently used Spanish to communicate with the chefs, asking questions about food orders and more. I started in my junior year of high school and was promoted to Key Manager by graduation. As a full-time college student, I worked three twelve hours shifts a week in addition to working at my school’s media services.

      When I produced a promotional trailer for a science communication workshop called Science Riot, I rented equipment, shot performers and performances, and edited together a the trailer featuring a behind the scenes look at how various scientists prepare to teach a crowd something funny from their field.

Additional duties included editing graduation ceremonies with Adobe software, organizing and packing equipment , and general production assistance.
