Show less As Program Manager, I directed the UPMC Health Plan’s Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) through the CDC’s DPP recognition process, recruiting over 200 pre-diabetic employees across 10 cohorts over 4 years to prevent progression to active diabetes.- Managed daily operations of DPP, including developing and implementing recruitment protocols and program deployment strategies, devising regular updates for stakeholders, and effectively communicating goals and changes with stakeholders.- Oversaw and conducted bi-annual health coach training as a DPP Master Trainer, training 22 coaches and significantly reducing organizational training expenses.- Led the transition of UPMC’s DPP from in-person to virtual, eventually expanding across the organization—oversaw a diverse team of coaches, leadership stakeholders, and trained health coaches, ultimately achieving CDC requirements with a 5% weight loss despite limited resources and concurrent programs.- Facilitated bi-annual data collection and submission for DPP to the CDC.
