  At JCPenney, I worked the catalog department, also known as ".com" as online orders and refunds were processed here. I assisted customers in ordering merchandise, refunds, billing inquires and regular in-store purchases. I received recognition by receiving feedback from customers in which they mentioned my name on an online survey. This helped increase the friendliness score by 10% in the month of December of 2013.   This was an internship over the summer where I exercised my academics and transferred it to a hands-on experience in the Human Resources field. Most of my time was dedicated to sourcing the best applicants online from websites such as Indeed.com, CareerBuilder.com and college portals in New Jersey. This was to fill internship positions and full-time positions.I also had the opportunity to sit-in interviews and provide feedback about candidates, observe the usage of ADP and the processing of payroll and benefits and give feedback on internal matters within the organization.I created a timeline of the possible times to hire interns for the coming semesters. I managed to use my Excel skills in making sheets for the CFO to forecast Front Desk Employees using past statistics.I worked on some filing and organization of applications and filed them in alphabetical order as well as the proper month and year.
