The projects and events aim to reinforce integration of the Polish community with local residents in Merseyside.   We all rely on Health and Care services to be there when we need them and expect that they will provide the level of service required.Healthwatch Liverpool:- Explains the options available to you- Helps you make informed choices about your health and care- Supports you if things go wrong- Listens to your experiencesAll of this together can make change possible for everyone’s benefit.My responsibilities:- Helping members of the public and professionals with information enquiries on a wide range of health and care issues- Recruiting and supporting volunteers- Gathering people’s experiences of using health and care services and using these experiences to inform change.- To undertake and project manage discrete activity streams within the overallHealthwatch work plan (e.g. Enter and View visits, Newsletter content coordination, etc.)- To provide support, training and line management to Healthwatch volunteers- To communicate effectively with the public and Healthwatch staff – including meeting the specific communication needs of people in a range of target audiences- To co-ordinate and undertake research and report writing for Healthwatch- To deliver presentations and reports to a variety of audiences, including briefing notes and promotional materials- To co-ordinate and facilitate meetings, working groups and other forums in relation to Healthwatch- To work closely with other Healthwatch team members and contribute to the development of procedures, protocols and policies- To contribute to written and other materials produced by Healthwatch, including web pages, e-bulletins, radio programmes, etc.- To liaise with a range of key partners across the statutory and voluntary sector to ensure Healthwatch has influence and is included in discussions regarding health and social care provision- To ensure that data on local health and care services and providers is kept up to date Show less
