  In my final year of studying, I started working as an intern (university vacation work) at The Website Engineer (TWE). I got involved in so many projects, that they kindly decided to offer me a permanent position after graduating. This work opportunity opened the door to development and software engineering for me.During my time at TWE, I learned web development tools such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and worked on projects for companies like Volkswagen, Audi, and Nissan. As the company grew, we learned how to build scalable cloud solutions with AWS. Using these cloud tools, I started a hosting solution for small to medium enterprises called CloudPress.Working in a fast-paced start-up environment has allowed me to grow immensely as a developer and ignited a passion in me for entrepreneurship and tech. I grew from having no technical experience to building custom websites from scratch whilst working with the end-user until the site is running and serving their clients. Show less
