    • District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS)

      Aug 2014 - now

Being a great teacher means that I have the skills to explain anything to anyone! Photosynthesis to a seven-year-old, no problem. Strategic technology integration plans to district administrators, absolutely. It also means that I create engaging presentations, am a skilled public speaker, and I can analyze many different data points to create a cohesive picture. As a coach, I served as a building leader, helping to shape the future of the school. I prepared and delivered comprehensive staff training on technology and development related topics. I trained adults on relevant topics with curricula that I developed. I created and ran the school's website and social media accounts. I established working relationships with families and community members.
