I have been described as a dedicated and reliable employee of Dominos Medowie for almost seven years, and have learned many transferable skills that will contribute to my future career. I am a highly valued member of Dominos Medowie as I was the first employee in store history to be offered a part-time role as a delivery expert. I had many responsibilities as a delivery expert including being presentable, complying with company standards and work, health and safety guidelines, providing high customer service, and maintaining workload at a highly productive pace. In my current role, I took on many management roles and was perceived by my peers as a leader within the store. I am trusted to train and coordinate employees which has developed my coordination, teamwork, and leadership skills. I have also been trusted to deliver high-quality customer service and converse with customer concerns. I have also filled in the role of a shift runner many times and had the responsibilities of money handling, closing, and opening the store Show less

    • SoilCRC

      Jan 2022 - Jun 2022
      Communications and Marketing Intern

My internship with SoilCRC was a wonderful experience and provided a healthy environment to develop my marketing and business-related skills. During my internship with SoilCRC, I acted as the "Communications and Marketing Intern" and directly worked with the "CEO' and "Communications and Marketing Manager." Working for SoilCRC allowed me to create many different forms of content across various different software. I was able to further develop my skillset across software including Canva, and Adobe Photoshop, while being exposed to new software including Mailchimp, Buffer, Jira, and WordPress. Through the application of this software, I created various forms of content including social media posts, promotion videos, presentations, reports, newsletters, and articles. I was also responsible for creating captions for the content and scheduling for the further months. The role with SoilCRC also improved my copywriting and blog publishing skills. I was trusted to review particular reports and articles to transform those contents into blogs and newsletter content according to SoilCRC's strict brand identity guidelines. Additionally, I enhanced my social media marketing trends and optimization skills by reviewing the social media analytics for both LinkedIn and Twitter platforms. I was then responsible for formatting this information and presenting the finding to the team with both suggestions and a plan of action. Finally, I believe my internship with SoilCRC developed many transferable skills including teamwork, time management, communication, and presentation skills. Show less

      Student Observer

During my university studies, I was allowed the opportunity to pursue a role as a student observer on the University of Newcastle rebranding project. The project's objective was to reshape the tagline of the University of Newcastle which best represented the universities core values and ongoing projects. As a student observer, I had the opportunity to sit in on many tissue meetings conducted by the marketing team and contribute from a student perspective when I saw it appropriate. I also was able to observe the coordination of many focus groups and understand the deep involvement that goes into gathering meaningful insights. Although I had a small role within the University of Newcastle rebranding project, I found the opportunity highly rewarding as it provided me with many industry insights I can apply to my future career.
