  My responsibilities were:• Design, implement and manage the IT financial reporting and budgeting framework for the Maybank Group.• Review, assess and challenge the financial and economic viability of IT project proposals and business plans, and advice management on IT project selection.• Liaise and advice project managers on cost optimisation strategies.• Develop and implement financial tracking & monitoring processes to ensure information accuracy and reporting timeliness.• Monitor capital expenditure utilisation is in accordance with the approved budget.• Drive monthly and year-end project management reporting and project management process for the Group – specifically on analysis on IT project spending and CAPEX & depreciation costs.
